This is what it's all about - These Little Wonders

No this isn't a post about real estate and how to grow your real estate business and it is not a post about:

  • The latest and greatest listing tool
  • About the coolest PowerPoint presentation
  • I don't have the latest and greatest script
  • No great technology gadget
  • I didn't find a cool real estate site to tell you about

I did however hear a song this morning that touched me.  It reminded me of what is important in life and what really matters.  The song is called "Little Wonders" by Rob Thomas.  Here are some of the song lyrics:

"our lives are made
in these small hours
these little wonders,
these twists & turns of fate
time falls away,
but these small hours,
these small hours still remain"

George, I am so on the same wavelength with you on this thought. Life is made up of moments. Sometimes they are very special moments, and you need to pause, and be aware of their importance.

George~"These little wonders, these twists and turns of fate"-Do you ever feel like God puts the words of other's  in your path at just the right moment because you need to hear something that He has been trying to tell you, but you may not have listened? That is exactly how your blog and this song have made me feel this morning and how truly touched my heart is. Thank YOU!

"If it's me you need to turn to, we'll get by, it's the heart that really matters in the end".

George - this is a tremendous reminder that no matter what is thrown at us, we just need to keep on track.  And such a wonderful presentation!  I particularly liked the lyrics ...

let it slide

let your troubles fall behind you ...

Great song - thank you for bringing it to our attention and for sharing.  God bless!

George - LOVE, LOVE this song!! One of my favorites and not because it was featured in "Meet the Robinson's" movie either, lol.  There is so much to learn from lyrics from songs such as these! Often times I turn to music to find comfort in quiet moments. Music tends to soothe me when nothing can. It's a true gift that God has given to those that can sing and write lyrics and share it with those and touch deep in their core! Thank you for sharing a side of you that we don't often get to see here in the Rain. Not to mention, the 'Rain' falling in the video is appropriate too! You should consider placing this post in the "Inspired by Song" group that Adam, Jason & Paul have, so many readers would enjoy this post as well. Have a great day and remember all the "little wonders.".....

Candace - Thank you for your touching comment.  I LOVE music and it simply touches my soul like words cannot describe.  I find music to be so inspirational in so many ways.  I use it to motivate myself and also to relax in the evening like you do.  I will check into the post you mentioned and I hope all is well.

I didn't start the day with this song -- but it is a great way to end an very busy day -- and then to begin renewed and refreshed for tomorrow.  I know a lot of people in NH were not happy with the Patriots game, but they had a great season!  I hope they all hear this song and focus on those special moments in life and not fixate on just one moment!

Hi George - I'd never heard this song before, and I've now listened to it twice.  "It's the heart that really matters in the end."  "These little wonders....."  Ah, the special parts of life that make up our lives..... very nice song, and thanks for sharing it here.  And now I can listen to it again!

Congrats on the Hall of Fame!  ;-)

I love this song, and hearing Rob Thomas sing, "You'll get by" at just the right time is always very comforting to me even when I think things are falling apart.

George -

This is so true - each of our steps on our journey resonates with its own circumstances, decisions, hopes and dreams.

In our small time on this crazy coil, the small things matter the most.

Best Regards,

Steve

Thanks George. This email was timely for me as well. Some stress in my day made me go numb. But in the big picture of life, it's not such BIG deal. Besides, everything always works out. We'll get through it all... we always have. Looking at it now, it's just another 'twist & turn'. Bless you George for being my friend.
