Just when I thought things could not get any better I just keep getting one surprise after another.
Thanks to some very special friends like Chris Elizabeth Griffith and Karen George I completely revamped my Active Rain profile and restructured my blogs last summer and the result was amazing to say the least, resulting in several leads that converted into sales.
Early last November RE/MAX International contacted me regarding my blog "If I had known then what I know now" and asked permission to reprint the blog and a story about me in the December, 2007 edition of the "RE/MAX Times".

I agreed and the story was printed in December as scheduled and I was informed the story was distributed in 64 countries!
Ever since the story was published I have been receiving phone calls, post cards and emails from Active Rain members from across the U.S. and they are still coming in. I have also received one new referral since the article was published and promised another referral. This is in addition all the other referrals I have received and that are pending since I joined AR.
This blows me away since I will be celebrating my 1st anniversary being an Active Rain member this March, 2008.
The amazing part is that in March of 2007 I had no idea that blogging was for adults and no idea what to blog about. I fumbled around for weeks like a ship with no sail. Thank God for Chris Elizabeth and Karen George and many others that reached out a helping hand.
I am eternally grateful to Active Rain and all those I call "Friends".

George, That is exciting news. I think I will go revisit that blog... Congrats!

George,
When I first joined in October 07 I could tell activerain was going to be different than anything I have encountered in my long real estate career(got in in 92). Congratulations on success with your activerain career!
Hi George..I joined last year to i think in February, and I wondered what to do as well. I know you were one of the early people that I communicated with on AR...thanks. I loved your story about the lady in Seattle who just gave out business cards, I tell that story here often. I read the Re/Max Times and was pleased to see they had an article about AR and you, I thought Wow..George has made big time. And so you should you have been a great and steady contributor here in the rain...WELL DONE GEORGE !
Cheers,, HAVE A GREAT YEAR IN REAL ESTATE AND IN THE RAIN IN 2008!
Way to go my friend! I am so happy for you. Great things happen to great people. :)
You have taught me so many wonderful things about blogging and AR. I have to admit I haven't done them all (yet) but I appreciate how much you have taught me and shared. You deserve all you receive.
George,
I am a fellow RE/MAX agent from New Orleans and your blog is one of the few that I keep track of. Congrats and keep it up!
George
I just love it when nice things happen to great guys! Keep up the momentum and all the best to you! Good Job!
George...You know what I think of your posts. I read as many as I can get to and welcome your comments. You mentioned two fellow Rainers, both of whom I subscribe to and enjoy. I am going to look at your profile and theirs and see what I can learn to improve mine. Same is true for the posts. I would really like to do a better in both areas.
You know how proud we all are of you.
Congratulations again,
Kathleen
