Acknowledge all that surrounds us and don't miss a thing

I remember watching a movie called "The Bone Collector" in which Denzel Washington was giving instructions to Angelina Jolie.  When Angelina was on a crime scene Denzel told her via radio communication that crime scenes were 4 dimensional.  One must look left, right, down and up to not miss anything.

Well the last few days we here in Idaho we have been blessed by unbelievable sunrises and sunsets that left us speechless and in awe of what God has painted with his finger for us.  Well it just so happens that yet another spectacular sunrise was visible this a.m. I was so in awe of it that I text messaged two of my special friends to make sure they were seeing what I was blessed to see.  They responded by saying they did indeed see this sunrise and were in awe.

Then a friend of mine walks in my office about mid morning to show me these spectacular photos.

By being in awe of the incredible sunrise to the east, I didn't look to the west and see that there was a double rainbow that you can see in the 1st upper left photo (the 2nd rainbow is faint).  My friend walked right out the back door of his ranch and took these photos.  I was so disappointed in myself that I didn't look to the west and see these incredible rainbows and colors.
Whether we are looking at a home to list or spending time with our family and friends.  It is important to look all around us and make sure and not miss anything. Once missed we may never have another oppportunity

George, Beautiful Photos, and poignant analogy. What we see is not always what is in front of us. if we change our perspective, we can open up to a whole new and exciting experience of the world.

Great pictures.  My bedroom windows face the sunrise and my office faces the sunset so I get to see both without having to move to a different room.  I guess now.... I'll have to go look out all windows!  I think its important to really appreciate every moment we have here on this big round ball.

I just showed the photos to my wife, she is amazed too. On our honeymoon 4 years ago, we were in the keys on a sunset cruise and came back with amazing photos. SOmetimes we just get lucky with everything set just right and can actually apture the moment. Good Job

Ive never seen a double rainbow! Just a single rainbow is a spectacular gift from the man upstairs. What a spectacular sight.

I'm thankful for each day that I have been given and Thanksgiving is the time to sit back and reflect on all of these blessings.

George,

I have been a nature enthusiast for many years. It is amazing what a person can observe when our eyes have been opened. I am constantly amazed by the beauty and simplicity that surround us every day.  Thank you for reminding us.
