When I think about North Carolina I think about the deep history. North Carolina was one of the original 13 colonies of the United States and was originally known as Carolina.
Today North Carolina is a thriving state with an increasingly diverse economy and population. As of July of 2006 the population was estimated to at 8,856,505 and has one of the most thriving economies at a time in which many states have struggling economies. North Carolina's diverse business and industry coupled with it's incredible beauty have made it a popular state for business and industry.
In addition, many residents have discovered the beauty of it's history, landscape and it's people. The elevation of North Carolina varies from sea level on the east coast to nearly 6,700 feet in the mountains. It has the most variation in climate of all the southeastern states.
As a golfer I marvel at the beautiful golf courses I see on television in North Carolina and although I have never had the opportunity to visit this incredible state I have been told the historic homes and new developments are awesome to see and offer something for everyone.

"As you may recall, we met a few years ago during an open house in Preston. Our first impression of you was that you were honest, hard working and dedicated to your profession. That impression was a correct one! From the moment you agreed to serve as our real estate agent, you treated Heather and me with respect and courtesy. You were honest and professional. In the end, you found the right home for us on a number of levels. You got the right price -- the right contract terms. Heather & John LeBleu-Preston Highlands, Cary
"We can't thank you enough for all your help and guidance in selling our home. You made me so comfortable with all the advice you offered. But mostly, the concern you took in assisting, and being available for us at all times. You have made my transition an easy one, and, as I look forward to my future in Maryland, we will always have warm and pleasant memories of our friendship." We would recommend Tracy to anyone selling their home in the Triangle area. Jennifer & Nick Bellucci-Apex

Homes of Carolina

Hi George - North Carolina is gorgeous! I'm only familiar with the western part, where my family has owned a summer home for several generations, in the Asheville-Hendersonville area, and it is beautiful in that area for sure.
Ann
Great post. I for one have traveled through North Carolina and found i to be a very interesting and fun state to visit.
Jack

George - Have you ever seen the Seniors Tour in Cary in October? That's Prestonwood Country Club that I belong to. Come visit, and your round is on me!
Chris Elizabeth - I'm so impressed w/your work. Thanks for your kind comments. We actually do have four seasons here!!
Ann - The Piedmont region, in the middle of North Carolina, is one of the fastest growing regions in the Country. I'd say education, culture, and lifestyle can't be beat. I also love Asheville too.
Jack - Glad you liked it here. I think that's why we had over 18,000 relocatees in the Triangle alone last year.
Diane - Thanks for your kind comments Diane - I just love Hilton Head too. It's my second home!!
